This fee provides for prepping the property for your arrival, partial cleaning and laundry services following your departure, plus general house clean-up to accommodate the return of owner or in preparation for the next guests.
Upon your arrival - everything should be in tip-top order, beds made and the house and equipment ready for your stay. If anything is out of place or unsatisfactory, please call Jim Welch at 661-619-8888!
Upon departure, guests are expected to do the following (Check-Out sheet provided at house):
1) leave the property in good shape and clean
2) remove all trash and place in trash and recycling containers in the garage
3) properly wash and return any pots and pans and place final dishes into and run the dishwasher.
4) strip ONLY the sheets and pillow cases of beds that were used (leave mattress covers, blankets, and pillows on unmade beds) and place on floor beside beds. Do NOT remake any beds used so we can know which beds were slept in!
5) place all used towels on the floor in the bathrooms and any beach towels used place on the laundry room floor.
6) remove any pet droppings and clean up after them
7) return things used to their proper place...golf cart, kayaks, etc., and make sure those items are returned clean
8) if kayaks were used, deflate (use vac suction!) and replace any pool and beach gear into the storage room
9) return any garage door openers to the kitchen island.
10) make sure fireplaces are off
11) set HVAC Units to settings per check-out sheet
12) return all furniture to where it was when you arrived
13) turn off all lights, tvs, etc.
14) secure and lock all doors & windows
Be sure to sign the guest book and leave your comments!
In addition to your prepaid PLC fee, a charge of $25 per crew hour will be assessed against any Security Deposit refund for time spent for excessive cleaning if renters leave the property in disarray or very dirty, rental items such as kayaks left dirty, etc.
If you spill it...clean it up!
If you track in mud or sand...clean it up!
If you rearrange furniture...put it back!
If you break it or damage it...be honest by leaving a damage note.
Use common sense...how would you like a guest to treat and leave YOUR home?!
Destin on the Water is a very large property, and takes quite a few hours to prep, launder all linens and towels, remake all the beds, and put the house back in clean, rentable order for your visit and the next guests. Our PLC fee is based on the number of guests and the duration of the booking. Compare our fees and no-risk policy with ANY other Destin rental of this size!
1-8 Guests = $500
9-12 Guests = $550
13-18 Guests = $650
